Blog task1-Inspiration, the design process and people

There are three points I would like to talk about the two videos. They are inspiration, the design process and people. The first point is that, as the saying goes, “Inspiration comes from life”. But I don’t think everything can be a source of impactful design. Good design needs to resonate with people, to make them feel emotion, maybe to make them feel warm, maybe to make them reflective.For example, in the case of the video about Trump, it was a political event that attracted a lot of attention around the world, about his stupidity, his tweets, which were very impressive and many people were angry.  People resonate with the thing and that’s why this project is so influential. On the second point about the design process, I learnt through the video that the key point is to do as much research as possible and to experiment as much as possible, that the core of design is the idea not just the visuals.Sometimes the visuals take only a short time and sometimes a long time, but enough research is needed to make the design rich. The project comes to life with something unique. At the same time, simple and powerful visuals have a greater impact and attract attention. The third point is human-centered. Through the second video, I felt deeply that the essence of design is human-centered, and that all design is for people. All design is for people. It helps people to become better in spirit or in life. This is why design needs to resonate with people.  But on the other hand, design is becoming more and more of a slogan and no one seems to care about the story behind a piece of design. Both the impact of design on people and the exploration of design by people are becoming more and more superficial. I think this is something I need to think about.
