Blog task2-Bookworks

This book is the work of a German graphic design studio – breaking the law. It focuses on the theme of crime, interviewing convicted criminals, but thinking differently about what they might not call crime. To read the inside, the reader needs to break the outside fence with a tool. This symbolic destruction is used to make the reader appreciate the contrast between reality and cliché. This particular book design is different from traditional books and is more creative and interesting. My favourite part is that it has some hidden content. The reader has to open the pages themselves to see what’s inside. This arouses the reader’s curiosity and desire to do something with it. On the other hand, the font used for the content of the book is a more original print font. This is in keeping with the seriousness of the subject matter of “law” and crime, but the content of the pictures is contrary to the seriousness. There is something out of the ordinary in the seemingly traditional design. A symbol of the designer’s satire of clichés and his observation of the dark world behind closed doors. I think it is a reflection on the difference between the law and absolute positivity.
