Project3-Teamwork on sleepwalking
I made this work with Helen ,Ray and Sally.
In fact we don’t have a strict division of labour. Helen did most of the web pages, edited the show video and wrote the background to the project, Ray took the videos of behind story, made the poster and wrote the project brief, Sally took the video and photos of the mini show and sorted out the questions about the project. I made the logo and edited the video of behind story. If we had to correspond to a job title. Ray is the creative director.Hellen is responsible for the website. And Sally is responsible for social media.I am the brand designer.

First of all, the theme of all four of our books is sleepwalking, but we have very different styles. So we thought about how we could put all of our work together in a way or space that wouldn’t be out of place. We came up with different ideas such as designing a brand or a bookshop. In the end, We chose to tie our work together in the form of an exhibition, using an offline exhibition and an online website show, the purpose of the offline show was to allow the audience to physically interact with the work, our offline show was called sleepwalk remix mini show.
Here is the record of our first meeting.
And this is the documents for the proceedings:

Then we start with what we need to prepare:

These are some drafts of the scenes we envisioned:

Helen and Sally borrowed the room and projector from the teacher.

While preparing for the offline exhibition we are also preparing the online website.
I made the logo, Ray made the poster, we discussed and chose one together.

Here are some drafts of logo and poster.

Draft17 of 20

These are final logo and poster.

Helen edited the website.

And this is a draft of website:

Here is the file of 20 drafts:
About our offline show:
We projected Hellen’s work on the wall with a projector and used her video music as the soundtrack. It sets the mood for the whole exhibition. An ipad was used next to it to display my e-book so that visitors could turn the pages and interact with it. Also Ray’s traditional physical book and Sally’s creative Rubik’s Cube physical book will make people have a different sense of experience with the physical book. The focus on interactivity is at the heart of our exhibition. We have abandoned the traditional book graphics and instead used moving lines to link the four works together. When entering the exhibition, the viewer is quickly transported into a specific atmosphere. The use of digital displays, projection technology and physical reading of the content makes for a truly immersive viewing experience. What we want to convey is the use of visualization to convey and perceive information.
And here is the video about our offline show:
Here is the behind story:
About our online website, the online website is a way to broaden the scope of the promotion, which is not only about the offline exhibition but also has more details of the production of the work.
Here is our online website:https://helenxlx.wixsite.com/sleepwalk
Here are some videos and photos of the behind story and offline show.

And on this website people can see all four of our works in detail. Visitors can choose the ones they are more interested in to view. They can also get to know us and check out other works of us through these website, which are our personal website.

In general we hope that young people who are not aware of the history of the workers’ movement in the last century will be able to learn about it through our offline exhibition and our website. We also hope that they will be able to give their own views on the song “sleep walk.”
